Welcome to my website. The following information is designed to provide you with a brief summary of
my professional background and the various services that I provide. I provide venture capital and legal
advice to Canadian and international angel investors, venture capital firms and early-stage companies.
My clients have included Canadian, American, European and Caribbean investors and companies seeking capital.
I have represented investors on a number of boards of directors and served as an officer of early stage
companies.

I have coordinated the provision of legal, structuring, tax and accounting services
with many Canadian, American, European and Caribbean professional
services providers and am adept at ensuring cost effective and timely
delivery of such services. I am pleased to work with existing advisors
and, if requested, can make appropriate referrals.

| In addition, I provide legal and consulting advice to small and medium
sized businesses and individuals from a variety of backgrounds. My
clients have included entrepreneurs, technology, manufacturing, mining, hospitality,
film production, software and finance companies, corporate executives and medical
professionals. |
I practiced corporate commercial, financing, mergers and acquisitions and securities law with
Lang Michener LLP and Donahue Ernst & Young LLP in Toronto, Ontario. In addition, I was the
Vice President, Corporate Affairs of a London, U.K. and Toronto, Ontario based venture capital firm.
Thus my vocational experience includes work at both large law firms and in the venture capital sector.

| My educational background includes a Bachelor
of Arts in History and Political Science from Huron University College,
University of Western Ontario (London, Ontario, Canada); a Bachelor
of Laws from the Faculty of Law, University of British Columbia (Vancouver,
British Columbia, Canada) and one year as a visiting student at the School
of Law, University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa, Alabama, U.S.A.). I
am qualified as a Lawyer and Notary Public in the Province of Ontario, Canada and am a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. |
